Consett Hiking Group
The Consett Hiking Group are an unregistered charity based in Consett leading walks for the whole community of all ages and abilities. They lead a different walk every Sunday and their full timetable can be found on their website.
Walk Durham
Walk Durham organises weekly walks in Consett every Tuesday afternoon.
The walk starts at 1.30pm and finishes at 3pm and leaves from the Consett Leisure Centre, Medomsley Road, Consett, DH8 5HU.

Derwent Reservoir Walk
There is a multi-user trail that takes in the breathtaking views of the reservoir. The walk is easy, comfortable walking
and is suitable for cyclists, walkers, wheelchairs and pushchairs. The path can be split into shorter sections and there is a shop, visitor centre and picnic sites.

Derwent River Short Walk
This is a short walk with some beautiful scenery, somewhere you could walk your dog for a nice relaxing time. It’s an easy walk and a brilliant time out and about.
