Project Genesis has taken the step to do temporary works to get the trail reopened at Pemberton Road for Christmas.
They are still waiting for Durham County Council / Northumbrian Water to decide how to resolve the problem in the long term but ACE are currently undergoing temporary works which are expected to be complete by this weekend (17th December).
