Update re the flooding problem at the Pemberton Road Crossing on the Heritage trail
Durham County Council have agreed to do works that should resolve the flooding problem at the Pemberton Road crossing.
Works are due to start on Monday 26th June 2023.
There is likely to be some disruption whilst the work is being carried out and then the track will need to be resurfaced again.
There is no exact timescale for the the length of the works programme as it will depend on what they find but is estimated at around two weeks.
