About the event

Consett Christmas Tree Festival 2025

Sharing the Joy of Christmas and bringing our local Community together in our amazing fourth Christmas Tree Festival.

We invite you to enter a spiritual space filled with light, wonder and hope to mark the beginning of Advent.

Our lighting expert Mark Sillet returns again to add the most fantastic lighting and audio backdrop to showcase over 50 trees covered in twinkling lights and the most ingenious ideas.

Whether you come on your own or as a family outing you will be met with a warm welcome. Take time to follow our trail and admire all our trees, stop to light a candle, make a Christmas decoration, or follow the nativity trail, we are sure you will have a lovely time.

Remember to visit our Christmas shop and enjoy festive refreshments as you sit amongst the trees and enjoy the music and the amazing atmosphere.

The event starts on Thursday 27th November (doors open 6pm) with our event blessing and the excellent sounds from The Whittonstall Community Band playing Christmas music.

The festival runs over four days with wonderful things for all to enjoy, including Red Dust choir, biking Santas, Pantomime judges visit, Community Carol service, local school choirs, visiting the prayer area, and much more.
